WESTON, MA—Two Roslindale residents were among 90 students to graduate from The Rivers School in Weston on Friday, June 13.
An honor roll student, Charli F. Klowden was a seven-year veteran of Rivers and her passionate energy made her an invaluable member of the community. She played the viola throughout her time at Rivers, participating in orchestras both on campus and off, namely the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra. Charli was a member of the Environmental Action Club and a Red Key tour guide, both of which appreciated her drive and passion to further their cause. The daughter of Jill Klowden, she will attend Barnard College in the fall.
An honor roll student, Elias J. Miranda was an outgoing and mature student who always had the respect of his teachers. He was committed to the theater; he had key roles in Rivers plays as both a junior and senior and won the Shakespeare competition his senior year. As a Red Key tour guide, Joel served as a great ambassador for the school. The son of Maribel Duprey, he will attend Northeastern University in the fall.
