• London Bridge was sold and moved — could Cape Cod spans be next? (capecodtimes.com) — Major changes are coming for the Sagamore Bridge, with a new, wider twin span funded and demolition of the existing bridge expected around 2033–34 once traffic shifts to the replacement. The Army Corps is even offering both the Sagamore and Bourne bridges for “adoption” to anyone able to relocate and preserve them, while MassDOT moves ahead with selecting builders for the massive project.
