SALEM, MA — A North Shore music bar that sought to bring a Nashville feel to the Witch City is closing down.
Owners of the Tipsy Cowboy in Salem said in an Instagram post that they have decided not to renew their lease in what they called a "difficult, heartbreaking decision."
The final day of operation is set for July 3.
Owners thanked the staff, customers and local businesses for all of the support over the past five years.
The Tipsy Cowboy offered spirits, music and a variety of watch parties and country-themed promotions.
"This isn't goodbye to the memories," the message said. "It's the closing of one wild chapter.
"So saddle up, Salem, we've got a few weeks left to tip our hats, raise our glasses, and ride this into the sunset the Tipsy way."
