Bayview Avenue Area Water System to Shut Down Temporarily Wednesday

SALEM, MA—Residents in the area of Bayview Avenue to Beach Avenue in Salem will experience a water shut-down Wednesday, according to BuildingSalem.com, the City's public information website concerning construction projects. 

According to the announcement, water will be shut down from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in order to replace valves in the system. Residents may experience brown water when service is restored. 

Residents are also advised to run their cold water until the brown coloring clears. Do not turn on your hot water, according to BuildingSalem.com.
