Beverly Children's Learning Center Receives a $1 Million Grant to Fund New Facility
550 Cabot St., Beverly will be the center's new and expanded home.

The Beverly Children’s Learning Center has been awarded a $1 million grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early education and Care that will be used to pay for, renovate and outfit a building at 550 Cabot St. as the center’s new and expanded home.
The Beverly Children’s Learning Center serves children ages one month to 14 years in Beverly and its surrounding communities. The center has grown from serving 30 families inits first home in the basement of St. Peter’s Church on Ocean Street in Beverly to 135 children at its current location in the Cummings Center where it has been located for 10 years.

The Beverly Children’s Learning Center is preparing for a capital campaign to raise $2.5 million to pay for and build the space at 550 Cabot Center, according to the center’s officials.
