Salem High, Salem Hospital Launch Medical Assisting Practicum For Students
A new Salem High partnership with Salem Hospital placed medical assisting students in a clinical setting this spring.

SALEM, MA — Salem High School has launched a new partnership with Mass General Brigham's Salem Hospital that gives students in the school's Career and Technical Education Medical Assisting program a chance to complete part of their required practicum hours in a healthcare setting.
The program began in May with students completing a two-week experience. School officials said the goal is to expand the program next school year.
The collaboration is designed to strengthen workforce development pathways for students while helping address demand for skilled healthcare professionals across the region.
