Christmas Eve Services: Featured Local Event
West Congregational Church in Peabody is just one of many local congregations holding special services Sunday.
PEABODY, MA - This week's featured Salem calendar event comes courtesy of West Congregational Church at 27 Johnson Street in Peabody. In addition to a Christmas-themed Sunday morning service, the church will hold a candlelight service on Sunday evening.
The morning Worship Service is at 10:30 am and Pastor Gene Heacock will be preaching on The Counterintuitive Christ: Loving Those Whose Nature Is Radically Different Than You from Luke 2: 4-15. Kingdom Kids, our Worship Service ministry for children (nursery - grade 4) will be available.
Our evening Candlelight Service begins at 7:00 pm and includes special music, carols, preaching and the lighting of candles to conclude the service. Pastor Gene Heacock will conclude our Advent Series, The Counterintuitive Christ: Loving Those Different Than You: The Incarnation from John 1:1-14.
