City Hopes to Avoid Snow Emergency Parking Ban

Up to four inches of snow in the latest forecast for Salem.

SALEM, MA - With the latest forecasts predicting two to four inches of snow in Salem, Mayor Kim Driscoll said the city is hoping to avoid calling for a snow emergency parking ban.

The city has public works crews in to help with salting and plowing, but no blue lights indicating the emergency parking ban at this point.

If anything changes, Driscoll said the information will be posted on the city’s website at www.salem.com.

“Let’s hope it stays light and fluffy,” the mayor said.
