City Of Salem: Bridge Street Neck Zoning Forum

The draft zoning regulates what can be built, the design, and the kind of uses allowed.

August 16, 2021

Bridge Street Neck’s unique character is changing. In 2019, Bridge Street neighbors worked with the City to update a vision for the neighborhood. Neighbors, the City, and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) are now working on zoning regulations to help implement that vision. The draft zoning regulates what can be built, the design, and the kind of uses allowed. We need your input to make sure the zoning standards are consistent with what is desired for the neighborhood.

The first forum will be held on Wednesday, August 18th at 6pm and the second forum will be held on Thursday, August 26th at 6pm. Both forums will be online via zoom and will present the same content, so you only need to attend one to provide your input.
