Crash Involving Motorcycle Reported on Highland Avenue: Police

SALEM, MA—A crash involving a motorcycle on Highland Avenue has been reported Friday afternoon.

Capt. Conrad Prosniewski of the Salem Police Department told Patch that the accident is being regarded as serious and that one person has been air-lifted to a Boston hospital. The accident occurred near the intersection of Highland Avenue and Ravenna Avenue.

Prosniewski also told Patch that there would be traffic delays for at least another hour and that the State Police Reconstruction Team has been called onto the scene.
