CultureHouse Salem To Host Next Food Justice Event
Graduates of Root's youth culinary program will provide meals for residents in need to dine in or to go on June 8.

SALEM, MA — CultureHouse Salem will host the city's next Food Justice event at its Old Town Hall location downtown.
The June 8 Food Justice event will include dine-in and to-go meals from graduates of the Root youth culinary program for any resident of Salem. The monthly event is traditionally held at the Saltonstall School but will move to the Old Town Hall location for June.
Members of the Salem Food Policy Council will be at the event to share information on food insecurity and Salem's 2022 Food Assessment.

Also in attendance will be the Salem Food Pantry and Project Bread.
The Food Justice events are part of a program from Salem Public Schools, the city and Root.
