Essex County DA Hires New Communications Chief

Former digital and radio medial professional Michael Keefe-Feldman will take over press duties for District Attorney Paul Tucker.

SALEM, MA — The Essex County District Attorney's Office on Tuesday announced the hiring of Michael Keefe-Feldman as the new Chief of Communications for DA Paul Tucker.

Keefe-Feldman replaces Sharyn Lubbas, who was handling media, and who will remain in Tucker's office as his Chief of Staff.

Feldman comes to the DA's Office from the strategic communications agency Chalkbridge and was previously a national digital media journalist for The Washington Post and for PBS/NPR radio station WMHT.

"We are excited to have Michael Keefe-Feldman join our dedicated and talented team," Tucker said in a media statement. "With more than 20 years of experience in professional communications and a demonstrable commitment to our region via his involvement in an array of community organizations, the people of Essex County will be well-served by his leadership in this role."

Keefe-Feldman graduated from Fordham University and Georgetown University and has been awarded by the Society of Professional Journalists and Montana Newspaper Association.

"I look forward to facilitating the flow of information in the public interest by working collaboratively with colleagues in the District Attorney’s office, media, local police departments, school departments, and community groups in order to help keep Essex County residents safe and informed," Keefe-Feldman said.
