Passport Series at 62 Restaurant & Wine Bar

62 Restaurant & Wine Bar is launching a 3-month-long Passport Series promotion (starting September 1st, 2010 and continuing until December 2nd, 2010) in which Chef/Owner Antonio Bettencourt will offer a 3-course, prefix menu for $28 highlighting both a different country each month, and traveling the sweet & savory inroads of the interior of each European country selected.

A great deal for diners, 62 has added a fun twist to their series. Guests will be issued passports that will be stamped as they make their culinary journey visiting the various regions and cities as the month progresses. Guests that travel to every region within a country in a single month (4x in one month) will be given a free "flight" or "free prefix dinner" next time they come in with a guest to the series. Guests that visit just 1 country a month for the entire series (3x in three months) will be entered to win a free vacation to Europe compliments of 62 Restaurant & Winebar and Colony Travel located in Lynnfield, MA. The trip will include a 3-night stay and cooking class at Relais Riserva di Fizzano, Castellina in Chianti. The Riserva di Fizzano is an ancient medieval "bourg" owned by Rocca delle Macie, situated on a hilltop in the Chianti Classico Hills, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
