Former Salem City Worker Gets 5.5 To 7 Years In Child Porn Case

David Holland was a recycling coordinator for Salem until his arrest last year.

SALEM, MA -- A former Salem recycling coordinator was sentenced to 5.5 to 7 years in prison after his guilty plea last week on child pornography charges. David Holland photographed a naked baby in a sexual pose and traded the photo with a New Hampshire man. The two men also discussed plans to trade access to sex with children.

Holland, who is married and has a child, cried during the sentencing on Monday, according to the Salem News, which first reported this story. "I'm not a bad person. I just have bad problems. I'm seeking to get better," Holland reportedly said during sentencing.
