Free Museum Of Science Admission, Food Passes For Salem Residents

Salem residents are eligible for the admission and food voucher through the Read Family Charitable Trust.

SALEM, MA — Salem residents are eligible for a free day at the Boston Museum of Science in September through a donation from the Read Family Charitable Trust.

Residents with proof of residency can get free admission to the exhibit halls, the Planetarium, and Omni Theater shows, as well as a food voucher for the Museum's cafe on Sept. 10 and Sept. 24.

This is the ninth year that the free admission program for Salem residents will be offered.

The Museum of Science is also planning a road trip to Salem and will have an exhibit at the Salem Farmers' Market on Sept. 1 and Sept. 15. Those heading to the pop-up exhibit will receive a free Engineering is Elementary Try It! Kit with instructions in both English and Spanish.

Proof of residency accepted include a driver's license, passport or student identification.

The program is good throughout September with the exception of Sept. 6 and Sept. 20 when the museum will be closed.
