Haunted Happenings Parking Information for This Weekend

The following is courtesy of the city of Salem: 

There are no planned road closures for Friday, Saturday and Sunday October 25th - 28th.  However, crowd size and public safety will dictate the need for closing any streets in the downtown area during the weekend.  
Traffic is expected to be extremely heavy throughout the weekend, so plan your travel accordingly.

Saturday, October 27 – Devil's Chase Road Race On Saturday morning beginning at 8:00am this road race will start at Salem Willows and proceed through Memorial Drive, the Common, Derby Street, Fort Avenue, Winter Island and the Willows neighborhood.  During the race there will be some traffic diversion along the route.  For more information, log ontowww.bnsfitness.com

ATTENTION DOWNTOWN RESIDENTS The YMCA/Sewall Street metered parking lot will be reserved for downtown resident parking all day on Saturday, October 28th and Wednesday, October 31st.  Obviously, there is a limited amount of spaces and downtown residents will be accommodated on a first come, first serve basis. In order to gain entry into these lots you must show proof of residency to the attendant.
