How Many OUI Convicts' 'Last Drinks' Were Consumed in Salem?
Since 2012, several people who were convicted of drunk driving allegedly consumed their last drink at a Salem establishment.

SALEM, MA — While there were fewer "last drinks" consumed in Salem than some surrounding areas, there have been several OUI convicts to consume their final alcoholic beverage before an OUI arrest in the city.
Salem has been the "place of last drink" for 125 people who have been arrested and convicted for operating under the influence in the last four years, according to The Boston Globe. The Globe report said that number was for people arrested between 2012 through Sept. 2016 who said they had their last drink at a bar or restaurant in Salem.
There have been 3 "place of last drink" reports in Salem per capita (1,000 residents).
