"You’ll be able to ask your friends, family, and others to support your efforts to help MSPCA-Angell continue to provide essential services to homeless, sick, or injured animals in need," the shelter wrote.

In just a few years and with the help of the community, MSPCA-Angell has been able to provide its 10 millionth pet meal to families whose pets would otherwise go hungry due to finances, rescue nearly 10,000 pets who were surrendered, homeless, or rescued from cruelty situations, provide subsidized medical care to nearly 10,000 animals whose families are experiencing economic hardship, and take in nearly 4,400 animals from other parts of the country who were relocated or displaced due to natural disasters, the shelter said.

"And the need is not diminishing anytime soon," MSPCA-Angell wrote on its website. "Your ongoing support on Giving Day will enable us to be there for animals — and families — in need in 2024."
