Man Charged With Assault And Battery With A Witch's Cauldron
Police say Cory Nelson, 35, of Everett, smelled of alcohol when he was arrested in a shop that sells witchcraft supplies.

SALEM, MA -- A 35-year-old Everett man was arrested and accused of hitting another man with a witch's cauldron in Salem Saturday night. Police say Cory Nelson, 35, of Everett, was found smelling of alcohol in Crow Haven Corner, a shop that sells witchcraft supplies -- including cauldrons. Police patroling the area had been approached by the victim, who was bleeding from a wound to his head.
According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, the victim refused treatment and would not allow police to photograph his injuries. Nelson pleaded not guilty assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a cauldron) in Salem District Court Monday.
