Neverland Theatre Dr. Seuss Show Sign-Ups
Neverland Theatre is currently seeking adults, kids and teens interested in performing in our Dr. Seuss Show!
Neverland is going to produce a fun, one hour show featuring the many characters of Dr. Seuss where we will tell several stories from Dr. Seuss books. Everyone will be dressed as a Dr. Seuss character and have lines in the production. This will be a non-musical but we will put some music in there to do some movement and audience-participation. This is a wonderful opportunity for cast members of all levels of experience and ages to get valuable experience in areas of stage presence, reading aloud, stage voice and team work. And a great way to make new friends.

REHEARSAL INFO:
Rehearsal begins Saturday, February 13
(No problem if you are going away for February Vacation. As long as you sign up we will save lines/a role for you)
ONCE A WEEK:
Saturdays from 10:30am - 12:45pm
Flexible ending time. Younger children can leave earlier.
Cast members under 8 will need a parental chaperone present at rehearsals/shows. Also parents can help their children who do not read yet with their lines/script at rehearsal.
We will add three more dress rehearsals Mon thru Wed, April 4-6 from 5:30pm - 8pm.
Younger cast members can leave earlier if that’s too late for them.
Show Dates:April 9 and 10 (3 performances)
Performances and 3 dress rehearsals held at ‘211 Bridge St., Salem, MA’
REHEARSAL LOCATIONS:
February in Ipswich ( Mariana’s Dance Studio , 7 Market St., Ipswich)
March and April at 211 Bridge St., Salem, MA
(We may have March 12 rehearsal back in Ipswich)
FINANCIAL INFORMATION:
Neverland Theatre gets its funding solely from ticket sales, show fees and program book advertisement. Each cast member is responsible for the following:
SHOW FEE:
For ages 16 and over: $50
For ages 5 thru 15: $150
(sibling discount of $25 per sibling)
A REMINDER THAT ALL SHOWS FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
