A New Gas Pipeline will be Installed across New Derby Street Tuesday Night

SALEM, MA — NEUCO, a contractor of National Grid, will be installing a new gas pipeline across New Derby Street in Salem overnight Monday into Tuesday morning; according to Building Salem, the city's public information initiative concerning construction projects in the city.

According to the announcement, the contractor is mobilizing today and performing some test pits on the corner of New Derby Street and Washington Street in preparation for the work.

Work is set to take place between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday night through Thursday morning.
