New Memorial Unveiled on Veterans Day
The stone veterans memorial is at St. Mary's Cemetery.

A new stone veterans memorial was unveiled at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Wednesday morning as part of the city’s Veterans Day activities.
“Honoring the men and women who served our country in time of war and peace for their courage, dedication, and sacrifice in defense of our freedom. We owe our eternal gratitude” reads the message chiseled into stone on the new veterans memorial unveiled at St. Mary’s Cemetery this morning, thanks to the generosity of the Archdiocese of Boston and Catholic Cemetery Association.
Mayor Kim Driscoll took part in the ceremony and said she is very appreciative of the many sacrifices made by veterans and their families.
