NITINOL ENGINE an engine that runs on sunlight!

In 1982 Kevin Sanders on CNN had a piece on an engine that use heat diffrence and "memory shape alloy" (nickel titanium) this engine used small temperature diffrences such as solar heated water to rotate a shaft.  The engine has power and torque (more than the similar stirling engine) and can easily be scaled up or down for distributed power (each home makes it's own power)  The engine was never heard from again in a serious way and exists now as a science toy called a "thermobile".  It has the power to erase our dependence on petroleum and is one of many such technologies buried by the vested agendas of the status quo.
