No Injuries In Salem Fire Wednesday Morning
The fire was reported at 8 am at the former Salem Court House on Federal Street.

SALEM, MA -- Salem Fire Fighters responded to an alarm at 8 am in on the second floor of an unoccupied courthouse at 32 Federal Street Wednesday. The alarm was sounded around 8 am and the fire was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported.
The building has been unoccupied since the nearby Ruane Judicial Center opened in 2011. People working in another part of the building reported smelling smoke. Fire officials said the fire appears to have started in a heating unit
