No Plans To Change Appointment System At Salem Marijuana Shop
The system ATG worked out with police and officials in Salem has resulted in brisk sales and minimal problems.

SALEM, MA -- Salem's first recreational marijuana store has no plans in the "forseeable future" to change its appointment-only system for customers. The system Alternative Therapies Group worked out with police and other Salem officials has resulted in minimal crowding problems while still allowing the store to record robust sales since opening Saturday. ATG is the third store in Massachusetts to begin selling recreational marijuana and the first in greater Boston.
We're "not planning any changes," ATG executive director Chris Edwards told the Salem News, which first reported this story. ATG will also continue to run a shuttle bus for customers with appointment from the Salem MBTA station.
