Playing Cats Cause Disturbance at Apartment Building: Salem Police Logs

Dec. 4

2:41 a.m.: Police responded to Harbor Street for a disturbance, and spoke to a woman who said that her cats were playing in the apartment and causing a disturbance. She was advised to quiet the cats for the night.

3:52 a.m.: Units were sent to Rainbow Terrace for a loud party. Officers spoke to a woman who had a small gathering listening to music. The woman turned the music off, but was advised that she would be cited or arrested if police were forced to return.

1:00 a.m.: Police responded to Highland Ave. on a report of a gray motor vehicle parked in the parking lot with no license plates. Police located the owner, who said he was moving the car off the lot that day.

Dec. 5

12:28 p.m.: A police unit took a report of a past Breaking and Entering in the daytime, larceny from a building and malicious destruction of property.

Arrests

Dec. 4, 8:35 p.m.: Fredrick C. Calef, 29, of Laighton Street in Lynn was arrested on a charge of leaving the scene of property damage.

Dec. 5, 12:00 p.m.: Jesse A. Cunha, 26, of Bryant Street in Salem was arrested on charges of shoplifting over $100 by asportation.

Dec. 5, 1:10 p.m.: William Toro-Rojas, 20, was arrested on a warrant.
