Police Investigating Noises Resembling Gunshots In North Salem
Residents have been reporting the sounds on a nightly basis over the past several week.
SALEM, MA -- Police are trying to determine the source of gunshot-like sounds that have been reported on a daily and nightly basis over the past several weeks in Salem. Officers that have responded to the calls have found no evidence of gunshots, fireworks or anything else that might be causing the sound.
The department posted a notice on its Facebook page asking anyone with information to contact Salem Police at 978-744-1212.
