Safe School Celebration Funding Available In Essex County: DA's Office

Up to $25,000 is available to school groups across the North Shore to help fund alcohol- and drug-free post-prom and post-graduation events.

SALEM, MA — Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker's office is looking to keep teens safe during the spring school celebration season with up to $25,000 in grants available to groups organizing alcohol- and drug-free post-prom and post-graduation parties for schools across the North Shore.

The application period for the grants opened on Monday and will close at 5 p.m. on April 7.

Any school-sanctioned group in the 34 cities and towns in Essex County is encouraged to apply here.

Completed forms should be mailed or emailed to Glen Johnson, Chief of Communications and External Affairs, at Essex County District Attorney’s Office, 10 Federal Street, Salem, MA 01970.
