Salem 2021 Election Poll Changes In Wards 1, 2, 7

Salem has some updates for the city primary election on Sept. 14 and the general election on Nov. 2.

SALEM, MA — Salem is making some changes to voting locations for Wards 1, 2 and 7 for the upcoming municipal primary and general election.

The primary will be Sept. 14 with the general citywide election on Nov. 2.

The Ward 2 polling location for both precincts will be moved to the Mayor Jean Levesque Community Life Center on Bridge Street. This is a change from the previous location of St. Peter's Hall.

Precinct 2 in Ward 1 will move back to the Community Room at 135 Lafayette Street.

Ward 7 polling locations for both locations have been moved back to the Enterprise Center on Loring Avenue.

Salem residents will once again be able to apply to vote by mail this year. The ballot application deadline is Sept. 8 at 5 p.m. The application can be found here.

There will also be in-person early voting for the city primary election starting Sept. 9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the City Hall Annex at 98 Washington Street.
