Salem Farmers' Market: Vendors, Schedule and More

The Salem Farmers' Market is set to kick off in less than a month. Here's some information you need to know.

SALEM, MA—The Salem Farmers' Market is kicking off its eighth season in its current format this June, the City announced Monday. 

This year, the farmers' market will feature over 30 vendors in its Derby Square location on Front Street in Salem. The farmers' market will be open each Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. from June 9 to October 13.

The farmers' market offers live music and representation from various community groups, along with the opportunity to purchase from vendors.

“The market has truly become a destination for the community – it’s a gathering place as well as an opportunity to get fresh, local produce and other goods,"   Salem Main Streets Executive Director Kylie Sullivan said in a City statement. “With the great range of vendors that we have, there’s something for everyone at our farmers’ market.”

According to the City announcement, the market was attended by over 2,000 people weekly.

The market will feature seven major farms; including Clark Farm, Gibney Gardens, Maitland Mountain Farm, Grant Family Farm, Heavens Harvest Certified Organic Farm, Long Hill Orchard, and Wally's Vegetables. This year, the market will also feature Cauldron Fermented Foods, 1634 Meadery, Bare Cheek Beauty, Grammy’s Bakery and Powerhouse Juice.
