Salem Heritage Days Schedule For Friday, August 10

SALEM, MA -- Heritage Days in Salem run through Monday, August 13. The schedule for Friday's events are listed below. See the complete schedule on the event Web site.

Kids Night – 5PM-7:30PM – Salem Common NEW THIS YEAR

The Salem YMCA is joining forces with the Salem Education Foundation and will transform the Salem Common into a paradise for children with moon bounces, rides, games and arts & crafts. Some new additions are learning how to write your name in a different language, learning how to drum, bi-lingual storytelling, and special performances throughout the evening. $5 per child will pay for unlimited rides. Betsy Miller & Matthew Cumbie, The (still perfectly fine) Adventures of Unicorn Hair + Dragon Heartstring – 6:30PM – Derby Square

This dynamic duo combines the whimsy of fairytales, whacky games and stories, and contemporary dance in their improvisational performances. Experience a wildly playful theatrical experience like you’ve never imagined! Free event.
