Salem Hospital Earns High Marks In Health Care Data Rankings
Healthgrades named Salem Hospital one of the top 250 hospitals in the country and No. 1 in the state for pulmonary care.

SALEM, MA — Salem Hospital earned high marks in another national survey that ranked it as one of the top 250 hospitals in the country.
Healthgrades, a national health care data company, ranked Salem Hospital in the top 5 percent of the country for clinical excellence as well as the recipient of five specialty clinical quality awards. Salem Hospital was judged in the top 100 of the country in gastrointestinal care, gastrointestinal surgery and pulmonary care — where it was ranked No. 1 in the state. Salem Hospital also earned clinical excellence awards in critical care and stroke care from Healthgrades.
"Salem Hospital has continued to provide exceptional care throughout a very challenging time in health care," Salem Hospital President Dr. David Roberts said in a statement to Patch. "It is a testament to the caliber of our entire team and the dedication of our extraordinary physicians, nurses and staff."
