Salem to Host All-Day Poké-Walk

SALEM, MA — Pokémon GO has taken the world by storm, and now Salem residents are invited to an event focused on "catching 'em all."

Salem Main Streets announced Wednesday that an all-day Pokémon GO event will be held Sunday entitled "SalemGo! Catch 'Em All!" The event will feature a scavenger hunt, costume contest, various prizes, pizza and more.

“The event will be an all-day Poke-walk that will be open to any willing participants," said John Andrews of Creative Salem according to Salem Main Streets."You can casually follow the map with some friends, or you can participate in the Pokemon-Themed scavenger hunt that will take you all around town.”

There will be a maximum entry of three people per scavenger hunt team. There will also be a costume contest at Silver Moon Comics and the Flying Saucer Pizza Company will be the official Pokemon Center of the evening.
