Salem Living Green Expo Set For Saturday
The expo at Old Town Hall and Derby Square will include speakers and information booths on sustainability.
SALEM, MA — Salem's Living Green Expo set for Saturday will include exhibitor talks about offshore wind, community farming and sustainability as well as information from nearly three dozen municipal and civic organizations.
The Expo is set for Salem's Old Town Hall and Derby Square.
Representatives from Crowley/Avangrid will be on hand at 10:30 a.m. to discuss the new Salem Wind Offshore Port and provide updates on the project's development.

City Councilor and local farmer Andy Varela will lead a discussion at 11:15 a.m. on community farming with the Mack Park Food Farm and the city's pending ordinance banning styrofoam.
Salem Sustainability Engagement Coordinator Stacy Kilb will speak at noon on the differences, advantages and disadvantages of cooking with gas, electricity and induction as part of her work to help make sure city departments and residents choose greener paths.
