Salem Man Arrested for False Personation in NH
Richard Porter was arrested in Londonderry last week, according to police.

LONDONDERRY, NH — A local man was arrested last week in New Hampshire, according to police. Richard W. Porter, 56, pictured upper left, of Vale Street in Salem, MA, was arrested at 12:20 p.m. on April 14, 2017, for false personation.

He was arrested on a warrant on Wilmington Road.

According to reports on Patch, Porter has been arrested a number of times in New Hampshire. In August 2016, he was arrested on a judge’s order to arrest for impose sent on a forgery charge and on a judge’s order to arrest for VOP on a forgery charge. In June 2014, he was arrested on a judge's order related to sentencing on a forgery charge. Last month, he was indicted for felony fraudulent handling of recordable writings as well as two counts of issuing bad checks. On June 20, 2017, he allegedly filed a quitclaim deed in Merrimack County on an Allenstown property.
