Alleged Attempted Murderer, Others Indicted in Merrimack County Superior Court
Concord, Manchester, Somersworth residents indicted on drug charges and Mass. man allegedly issued bad checks.
CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted in Merrimack County Superior Court in March.
Alice Penney, 33, of Verona Street in Somersworth, for possession of a narcotic drug-cocaine. The charge stems from an alleged incident on Oct. 3, 2016, in Pittsfield.

Jared M. Peterson, 27, of Dalton, on two felony counts of possession of a controlled drug-Buprenorphine, fentanyl, with intent to sell or dispense and three felony counts of controlled drug act; acts prohibited-methamphetamine, Buprenorphine, fentanyl. The charges stem from an alleged incident on Jan. 26, 2017, in Canterbury.
Richard W. Porter Jr., 56, of School Street in Woburn, MA, for felony fraudulent handling of recordable writings as well as two counts of issuing bad checks. On June 20, 2017, he allegedly filed a quitclaim deed in Merrimack County on an Allenstown property.

John Quinn III, 61, pictured left center, of Island Pond Road in Manchester, for controlled drug act; acts prohibited-cocaine and falsifying physical evidence. On Jan. 18, 2017, in Hooksett, he allegedly attempted to conceal two baggies of cocaine in his mouth.
Wendee Reno, 35, pictured right center, of East Side Drive in Concord, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, for felony possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine. The charge stems from an alleged incident on Jan. 25, 2017, in Concord.
Hector Rodriguez, 23, pictured far right, of Concord Gardens in Concord, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, for felony possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine and operating without a valid license. On Jan. 26, 2017, he was allegedly in possession of the drug after a traffic stop on South Main Street in Concord.
Steven Rossi, 37, pictured far left, of Pitman Street in Concord, for attempted murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, criminal threatening, and criminal restraint, all felonies, as well as two counts of simple assault and resisting arrest or detention. On Dec. 31, 2016, he allegedly placed his legs around a woman’s neck while trying to stab her with scissors and stated, “I’m gonna kill you” or words to that effect. Rossi also allegedly cut her in the head and struggled with officers as they tried to place him under arrest, according to the indictment.
