Salem Man Ordered Held Without Bail After Alleged Attack on Salem Woman
Multiple reports indicate the man had been released from prison earlier this month.

SALEM, MA—A Salem man arrested Monday in connection with an alleged attack on a woman in her Salem home was held without bail in Salem District Court Tuesday.
Peter Turco, 39, was ordered held without bail, arraigned Tuesday in connection with a home invasion that involved an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Police announced Monday through Facebook that the department had arrested Turco after a two-day search and investigation.
Multiple reports say Turco attacked a 28-year-old Salem woman inside her home on Salem Street, who was the ex-girlfriend of a fellow member of the Crazy White Boyz gang.

The Boston Globe reports that Turco allegedly beat the woman in an attack that broke most of her teeth and left her with a stab wound to the eye. Fox 25 reports that the victim's jaw was broken and that she has not regained sight in her right eye.
Reports also said that Turco was released from prison earlier this month.
