Salem Police Arrest Assault and Battery, Home Invasion Suspect After Two-Day Investigation

SALEM, MA—Salem Police announced Friday that they have arrested a suspect in connection with a home invasion that involved an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Police announced through Facebook that the department had arrested Peter Turco, 39, after a two-day search and investigation. Police say that Turco will be arraigned in Salem District Court Tuesday, and that no further information would be released Monday evening.

According to a report by theSalem News, Police had asked law enforcement agencies around the North Shore to be on the look out for Turco Monday. The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section assisted with the investigation.
