Salem Police Collect 887 Items For 'It Starts With Me' Food Drive
Police said $275 in cash donations were also made at the fill-a-cruiser event Wednesday night.
SALEM, MA — Salem police were able to collect 883 items and $275 in donations during their fill-a-cruiser food drive event on Wednesday.
The "It Starts With Me" turkey drive collected turkeys and other traditional holiday food items for those in need in front of the police station on Margin Street.
Items collected included: squash, canned corn, butter, rolls, pie, stuffing, boxed desserts,
