Salem Police Department Honors Retirees
Officers Mary Smith and Joseph Sierra were honored at a ceremony Thursday afternoon.
Family, friends and members of the honored Officers Joseph Sierra and Mary Smith Wednesday afternoon.
Smith is retiring after 22 years as a member of the department.
On Feb. 11 1983, Sierra joined the department — the same day as Chief Paul Tucker.
