Police Respond to Rowdy Salem Bruins Fan

The following information was submitted by the Salem Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log:

Friday, June 7:

  • At 6:33 p.m., a Jefferson Avenue man called police to report that he hadn't seen his daughter in a week.
  • At 7:33 p.m., an Ord Street man entered the police station to report that someone stole three aluminum ladders from his backyard.
  • At 9:27 p.m., police responded to a fireworks complaint on Hancock Street.
  • At 10:09 p.m., police responded to a second fireworks complaint on Hancock Street.
  • At 10:44 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Flint Street. A man told responding officers he was just cheering for the Bruins when they won.

  • At 1:19 a.m., police received word that a tree branch had fallen on a vehicle on Greenway Road.
  • At 2:49 a.m., police responded to a fight in the street near the intersection of Congress and Dow streets. One man was placed into protective custody.
  • At 7:26 a.m., police responded to a report of downed wires on Ocean Avenue.
  • At 8:08 a.m., police received word that a tree branch had fallen onto a motor vehicle on Greenway Road.
  • At 10:06 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Heritage Drive. Anthony I. Lucci, 31, of 189 Broadway, Methuen, was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.
  • At 10:33 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Bridge Street. Robert M. Gosselin, 23, of 8 Lost Horse Terrace, Franklin, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 1:23 p.m., police responded to a report of a rabid skunk on Endicott Street.
  • At 2:53 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Bridge Street. Hung V. Dinh, 47, of 33 Grant St., Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 3:29 p.m., police responded to a report of shoplifting at the Home Depot on Trader's Way. David G. Stankiewicz, 32, of 6 Bartholomew Terrace, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of shoplifting merchandise valued above $100 and for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.

Other arrests

Colton J. Buckley, 22, of 16 Daniels St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
