Salem Power Outage To Affect More Than 1,000 Residents (Updated)

The planned power outage is scheduled for March 29 starting at 10 p.m. with additional streets added to the outage area.

SALEM, MA — A planned power outage affecting more than 1,000 customers in Salem is scheduled for next week.

Customers on the following streets should expect power interruptions starting at 10 p.m. on March 29 until 6 a.m. on March 30. National Grid said customers on other streets in the vicinity may also see their power interrupted: (EDITOR'S NOTE: This list has been updated from earlier publication)

"Charge devices, turn up your heat prior and turn down your fridge temp — and keep close during the outage — Similar to tactics used during a power outage during the storm," Ward 6 City Councilor Meg Riccardi suggested.
