I.N.S.A., which still needs state approval, will operate on Highland Avenue near the Salem-Lynn city line.

SALEM, MA -- The city of Salem signed a hist agreement with I.N.S.A. for its fifth and final retail marijuana license. I.N.S.A., which still needs state approval, will operate on Highland Avenue near the Salem-Lynn city line. Under the terms of the deal, I.N.S.A. will donate $30,000 to charities of its choosing and up to 7 percent of its sales. The agreement also ends a bid by NS Alternatives to open in Salem.
According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, I.N.S.A. already opened a retail marijuana shop in Easthampton and runs a medical marijuana dispensary in Springfield. To date, just one retail marijuana store has opened in Salem as the other four await final approval from the state's Cannabis Control Commission.
