Salem Route E1 Street Sweeping Rescheduled for Thursday

A no parking tow zone area will be in effect on Thursday on sweeping route E1 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Here are the affected streets.

SALEM, MA—If you live in street sweeping route E1 in Salem, don't leave your car parked on the street during the day on Thursday.

The cancellation of street sweeping on May 2 has resulted in the re-scheduling of efforts for Thursday in zone E1. During the hours between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., there will be a parking ban in effect.

Temporary orange town zones will be posted throughout the neighborhood, and cars must be removed from both sides of the street. You can move your car back once the sweeper has cleaned your roadway.

During the sweeping, residents can part their vehicles on Lafayette Street between Dow Street and Loring Avenue. all posted restrictions and metered rates still apply.
