"In Salem, education is a community mission," Salem Mayor Dominick Pangallo said. "Especially this year, as Salem marks its 400th anniversary, it is the perfect time to be thinking more deeply about the legacy we are leaving, and investing in the future for Salem students is such a wonderful way to do so.
"I am grateful to all who contribute to this fund throughout the year, and I encourage all who can to donate to support these scholarships and, for our eligible students, to apply for this year's round of scholarship awards before the April 26 deadline."
