Salem Transfer Stations Adds Hours For Storm Clean-Up

Yard waste should be dropped off in a paper yard waste bag or dumped loose at the designated area inside the site.

From The City of Salem: Following the major storm of March 2-3, the Salem Transfer Station on Swampscott Road will be open for yard waste drop-off by Salem residents with proof of residency on Saturday, March 10th from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Sunday, March 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Yard waste should be dropped off in a paper yard waste bag or dumped loose at the designated area inside the site. Please do not leave yard waste outside of the fence or gates, as it may obstruct traffic on Swampscott Road. Yard waste in plastic bags will not be accepted.
