Salem Visitors Center Plans LEGO Event For School Vacation Week

Guests can make and take home their very own mini lighthouse keeper and mini Bakers Island Light.

(Salem, MA) – Take home your own piece of Bakers Island Light Station! Join us during February school vacation week for an exciting LEGO Make & Take event co-hosted by Essex Heritage and the National Park Service. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 19. Gavin Gardner, our special NPS instructor and local LEGO expert, is leading this family friendly activity where guests will have the chance to make and take home their very own minifigure lighthouse keeper and mini Bakers Island Light.

Guests are welcome to come to the NPS Regional Visitor Center in Salem (2 New Liberty St) between 10am and 12pm to build their LEGO creation. Come celebrate the maritime heritage of Salem through the art of LEGO building!
