Salem Wiccan Priest Sentenced for Heroin Distribution: Report

A Wiccan priest, who also works as a psychic, plead guilty to heroin distribution, according to the Salem News

SALEM, MA—Richard Watson, 51, of Salem was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to heroin distribution, according to a report by the Salem News.

The Salem News Reports indicates that Watson, who is a well-known Wiccan priest who also works as a psychic in Salem, was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in Salem Superior Court Tuesday. Watson must serve two years of the sentence, with the balance suspended for three years where he will be placed under supervised probation.

Watson's charges had been reduced from heroin trafficking to possession with intent to distribute after his attorney and prosecutor Christina Ronan, the Salem News also reports.
