Salem Woman To Be Charged With Leaving Scene Of Skateboard Crash
Salem police said 25-year-old Arianna Gallagher will be charged with the criminal complaint after hitting a teen skateboarder last week.
SALEM, MA — A Salem woman shown on surveillance video driving into a teen girl on a skateboard at a Salem intersection last week will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing injury.
Salem police on Wednesday identified the driver as 25-year-old Arianna Gallagher.
Police said Tuesday afternoon Gallagher came forward for an interview after media coverage of the collision, and that they would be filing a criminal complaint against her following the interview and investigation.

Police said the teen girl reported Friday morning she was struck at the intersection of Ord Street and Aborn Street three days earlier.
Video of the collision showed the woman stopping and briefly talking with the victim, then driving off without providing any contact information.

Police said they investigated the complaint and were able to locate additional video of the collision. They said the driver came forward about 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
