Salem Woman Wins $1 Million On Scratch Ticket Bought In Peabody

SALEM, MA — A Salem $1 million lottery winner said she plans to use the prize to buy an RV and travel the country.

Marie Olson won the $1 million prize in the "$10,000,000 Bonus Wins" instant ticket game.

The Massachusetts Lottery said she chose to receive her prize in a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.

Olson purchased her winning ticket at Andy's Walnut Mart on Walnut Street in Peabody. That store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the big winning ticket.
